The B&B of the black friars

Our bed & breakfast is located in the historic center of Tarquinia just a few meters from the historic museum, the fifteenth-century Palazzo Vitelleschi and a few minutes by car from the Etruscan necropolis and the sea. ​

The magical and mystical atmosphere that reigns in our b&b derives from the fact that the accommodation is located exactly within the architectural complex of the ancient monastery of San Marco, whose premises were once occupied by the infamous Black friars (Augustinians) to which the whole structure belonged, consisting of the church, cloister and the imposing walls of the city.

The Cloister is a place of peace, serenity and ancient legends, in fact it is here that the myth of Fra Sergio and his lucky bell was born. To find out more, click the link below and come see us soon!
